Task Center
Automated task management system.
Overview
Task Center was designed as a productivity tool to organize and manage automated tasks. Task
Center would receive tasks from another product I worked on called Workflows. From
Workflows, tasks are assigned a dynamic user and group. The assignee, then views and
completes the task assigned to them from Task Center. Managers can follow certain tasks or
groups of tasks, and monitor completion and progress.
Note: Task Center would later be merged with another product called 'Approvals'and re-named 'Tasks and Approvals'.

Designing the Task Center
From the dashboard landing page, displays categories of tasks, a watch list, and important task statuses along the top. Once a category is selected, users are lead to a task list where they can view a specific task’s details and complete the related form. From task details, users can view task history, comments, and related tasks generated from the same Workflow.
Accommodating for Mobile
Once desktop was underway, we were asked to create a mobile version as well. Converting the desktop designs to mobile was quick work, and maintained all of the features provided in desktop.
Merging with an existing product
Later, I would merge this product with an existing product called Tasks and Approvals. Merging these to products consolidated assigned tasks into one place, and also provided Tasks and Approvals with dynamics features the Workflows provided to Task Center.
