Mentoring Program Material
Reference and guidebook for mentorships
Overview
I was asked to work on this project after the company decided they wanted to begin a mentorship program for their employees. This was all company based, so less experienced employees could ask for help or mentorship from other more experienced employees who had volunteered to participate in the program.
Design Process
To start off, I began collecting lists of resources that management and others wanted to be included in the program. This included resources to videos, books, personality tests and more. From there, I worked with members of management to get an idea of the vision and purpose of the program. They sent me various articles and websites as reference, and I worked to summarize their thoughts and organize it into a cohesive booklet. These pages where printed, put into binders, and used by both mentor and "protege" during organized company mentorships.
