Retial site landing page
Overview
I was asked to redesign the existing company website, including homepage and all other sub pages. I also needed to add to and expand the information that was already on the website and create several new pages that did not already exist.
Design Decisions
During this project, I found myself drafting much of the written content. I researched companies similar to ours and identified our own strong points and what we wanted to tell prospective customers. Once I had some content I felt would be beneficial and explain our business model accurately, I began designing sections of the website around this content.
Revisions
During the course of this project the company decided that they wanted to show both sides of our business equally. Based off this decision, I changed the initial home page to highlight these two different sides of the business. This page then directed them to one or the other featured pages based off the customers interests. As the project progressed, the design was also simplified to accommodate the time restraints of the programmers and additional sections where added to include extra content I was given.
